Terms of Participation
To mark its 26th anniversary, Kreativ Media GmbH (“Kreativ Media”) is saying thank you with a special prize draw (“giveaway”): 26 web hostings are waiting for lucky winners!
By participating in the giveaway, the participant accepts the following terms of participation:
1. What can you win?
Each person drawn will win the “Web Hosting Star” plan, worth CHF 154.80, for a duration of one year. The prize does not include the costs associated with a domain required to use the hosting plan.
The prize can be used to purchase new web hosting or alternatively be credited to existing hosting.
For larger hosting packages (Galaxy, Cosmos, Root Cloud Server, Managed Cloud Server or Reseller Hosting), the equivalent value will be credited to the next invoice. A cash payment is excluded.
2. Eligibility
All natural persons residing in Switzerland who are at least 18 years old at the time of participation in the giveaway are eligible to participate.
Employees of KreativMedia are excluded from participation.
Each eligible person may participate in the giveaway via all three social media channels of Kreativ Media (see below, section 3) and thereby increase their chances of winning. However, a participant can win only one hosting plan (see above, section 1).
3. Participation and Deadline
The giveaway starts on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 9:00.
To take part in the draw, each participant must (1) subscribe to at least one of Kreativ Media’s social media channels/profiles on Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn (i.e. follow the respective channel), and (2) comment on a post on one of these channels referring to the giveaway. The participant’s social media profile will then serve to identify the participant and to contact them in case of a win and for prize delivery.
The deadline for participation is Tuesday, 18 August 2026 at 23:59 (CEST).
Participation is possible at any time during the giveaway period, free of charge, and not tied to any purchase. To redeem the prize, the winner must be the holder of an active domain.
4. Selection and Notification of Winners
The winners will be selected by random draw after the participation deadline, with equal chances for all eligible participants not excluded under section 6. Winners will be notified directly via the respective social media channel.
If no response is received within 10 working days, the claim to the prize will be permanently forfeited. In addition, the claim to the prize will be forfeited if the message about the prize cannot be successfully delivered to the winner (e.g. due to technical problems on the part of the respective social media platform or the respective social media profile of the winner).
5. Data Protection
The personal data collected in the context of the giveaway may be stored and used by KreativMedia (and third parties commissioned by KreativMedia in this context) for the duration and handling of the giveaway. In all other respects, the data protection policy of Kreativ Media applies and is available at: Privacy policy (in German).
6. Fairness and Exclusion
KreativMedia reserves the right to exclude participants from the giveaway in the event of a justified suspicion of manipulation, abuse, reputational harm and/or legal violations.
7. Early Termination and Changes
KreativMedia reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the giveaway at any time.
8. Legal Recourse and Liability
Legal recourse is excluded. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the prize draw.
KreativMedia accepts no liability for any damages arising in connection with participation in the giveaway.
Swiss law shall apply exclusively.
